A US-based Liberian couple (named withheld) had no idea it would be their last journey when they decided to travel back home for the Christmas celebration.
According to Liberian Gazette , the couple who lived in Minnesota, had been sending money from the United States to the husband’s brother (name withheld) to help them invest in the Liberian real estate sector.
When they arrived in Liberia for the Holiday, the brother offered to host them. They had lunch at the brother's house. Back in their apartment that evening, they were found dead on the bed with foam dripping from their mouths.

Despite an initial attempt by the family to conceal the identity of the victims and the brother, the couple's photos have now been released. Reports are conflicting, as some sections of the Liberian media claim the brother has been arrested, while others report that he is at large.
